Feeling hopeless? Maybe you’re not doing enough…

You are probably thinking, “yes, I know, our planet is f#cked, but what am I as one person or as one family going to do about it.” Or maybe you’re thinking, “it’s too scary or too much for me to process; I’d rather not know about the end of the world.”

If you’re feeling hopeless about the future of life on Planet Earth, maybe you are not doing enough?

No one can do everything to save our home, but life on Planet Earth depends on everyone doing something. We can’t wait around for someone else to take care of it. Unfortunately, the majority of our elected politicians are financially compromised and will always choose the side of capitalism and industry until “we the people” demand otherwise.

The foundation of Planet Earth depends on the strength of our communities. The strength of our communities depends on what the majority of the people are doing in their homes and neighborhoods. Are you involved in local politics? Do you shop from small businesses? Would you support and help with a community garden? or grow a garden to share on your land? Do you use alternative energy? Do you try to reduce your waste? These things all matter and your one house does make a difference.

Strong communities make strong cities. Strong cities make stronger states. You get where I’m going. Nothing can beat the power of community and you have the ability to reach your communities, digitally and physically.

But first, you need to be aware of what is going on behind your back, what the big guys don’t want you to see. Then we can build communities, economies, and government initiatives that work together to find the best solutions based on nature, culture, location, equality, and skillsets. Everything starts in your home.
