Reconnect Retreat: Making Your Health and Wellness a Priority
Healthy Body + Balanced Brain + Happy Soul = Your Best Life
All-Inclusive Retreat in Yucatán, México!
Multi-day Experience: 4 nights, 5 days
Here is an opportunity to disconnect from your responsibilities, put your needs first, and reconnect to your health and well-being.
The retreat is physically active without feeling like you are working out. Together with the duration of the retreat and the different activities, we can create a regular exercise program that works for your body and your schedule.
You will learn how to make nutritious dietary choices for your body with the lowest environmental impact. You won’t be hungry because healthy, delicious food is available and included all day. As well as a daily fresh juice bar! All food and drinks are organic or sourced from local farms. Everyone has a different diet or way of eating, and that’s OK; we’ve got you covered.
Did you know that breathing in a specific way can stop a panic attack in its grips? Along with learning this simple breathwork technique, you will also find yourself connected in the WOW of nature, in magical moments of ceremony, and through various spiritual practices such as meditations, rituals, and new habits. Spirituality is non-denominational; every spiritual belief is welcome.
When you are in balance and aligned with your mind, body, and spirit, nothing can stop you from living your truth, your purest potential, and ultimately YOUR BEST LIFE!
That is why we created this 5-day program to share some tools to help you reconnect to the physical, mental, and spiritual self-love you deserve. Not only is it beneficial for your health to be living in alignment, but it also helps the collective when you are living your truth and sharing your gifts with us.
What to expect:
Day 1: Arrival. Check in and get settled.
Your experience will begin with a lovely 4-course welcome dinner prepared by our local, private chef in The Villa Merida’s gardens. Dinner will be an excellent time to introduce ourselves, make new friends, and discuss the coming weekend. Low-calorie cocktails are included (with alcohol or non-alcoholic, it’s your choice). We will open the retreat with a fire circle to set your intentions for the journey.
Day Two: Let’s get this party started.
Wake up to sunrise meditation, breath work & cardio yoga class to get the blood flowing. Have you tried the Wim Hoff Method? Here’s your chance, even with all the rage, ice baths are incredible for your physical and mental health. Until you know, you can’t imagine. With all the morning's excitement, we will balance the day with a relaxing afternoon at the villa. Massages (1 included in price), read, journal, float in the pool, sleep under the trees in a hammock, or hide in your air-conditioned room. For dinner, we’ve created a practical, healthy eating workshop & cooking class with a professional health coach. Finishing the evening with a circle chat is where the magic happens.
Day Three: Beach Day
Today will begin early with a sunrise meditation followed by a 5k (3miles) jog/walk at the beach. WOW, what a view, you won’t notice that you are jogging! After you work up a sweat, the morning is yours to enjoy the refreshing emerald water and white sand beach. You will find the freshest seafood at the sea, so we will stay at our favorite local spot for lunch. (don’t like seafood? Fear not; we’ve got you covered). There is a reason that siestas are popular in Mexico, and today you will learn why. After your siesta, tonight’s the night to reconnect with your body and learn to salsa dance with the locals.
Day Four: Ceremony
We are starting the day a few hours later to recover from the previous action-packed days before making our way to a sacred cenote in the Mayan jungles for a floating sound healing session. We will gather for the Mayan Temezcal Ceremony with Abuela Monica in the afternoon. The ceremony is powerful, and you will want time to reflect the afternoon away. After an exhilarating day, a low-key evening in might be what you need, or you could also be full of energy and want to explore the colonial city Merida. We will flow.
Day Five: Sunrise Meditation, Final Breakfast & Closing Ceremony 🤗🤗🤗
