5 reasons why women-only travel is trending

Womens retreat Yucatan Mexico

Beautiful things happen when the gals get together. It doesn't matter if it's a book club gathering with afternoon tea in the garden, a raging ladies’ night out with 5 martinis 🍸, or a 6-day women’s reconnect (eco) retreat to México. There is a natural feminine force that connects us, feeds our souls, and gives us what we need to keep going. We can share, relate, laugh, learn, and relax much easier when it's women only.

Why women-only retreats?

  1. Solo travel pushes you to step outside of your comfort zones. Retreats are an excellent way to feel safe while traveling as a single female, and you will meet other solo adventurous, traveling women who enjoy the same activities as you.

  2. It's about women helping women. By sharing and hearing stories from other women, we can relate, ask questions, and offer tried and real solutions to others' challenges. Women worldwide share struggles of inequality, being heard, and being treated respectfully by the male species. When you have a group of strong, smart, supportive women listening and telling you that you can do it, all things become possible.

  3. It's a safe place to be vulnerable, to be yourself without fear of rejection or judgment. You can say what's on your mind, ask stupid questions, laugh at your own jokes. Wear that sexy new bathing suit that you have been too self-conscious to wear. Cry your face off and release whatever is holding you back from your purest potential. Go there without fear!

  4. It's an adventure without competition. Often when the male species participates in an activity, they feel the need to compete, to be best, to win, and women are more likely to focus on enjoying the activity. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

  5. Every time women gather in a circle, the world heals a little more. Women around the globe are feeling a push to embrace their gifts and share them with the world. Mother Earth needs feminine energy to balance the scales. Women-only travel is an excellent way to find your tribe.
