A beautiful day at the beach ends in another devastating “accident” oil spill

We spent the day in the sparkly Laguna Beach, CA sitting under the big, beautiful rocks at the Cove and at that time, we had no idea that oil had already begun to wash up on the beach right below us, along with dead birds, fish and other wildlife.
Are you funding animal slavery?
Of course, you didn’t do it intentionally; we just didn’t see the complete picture. Animals are really freaking cool. Who doesn’t want to hug a dolphin or see a beluga whale up close and protected by a giant glass wall? Unfortunately, we never asked the animals if they were cool with it and these businesses have large marketing budgets to distract us from the truth.
While green construction can initially cost more than traditional building methods, these higher expenses aren’t due to the benefits it provides, like lower utility bills and healthier indoor air. Instead, the costs stem from quality sustainable materials, advanced technology, and specialized labor. These investments create high-performing, eco-friendly buildings that reduce environmental impact and offer long-term savings, making green construction a smart choice for a sustainable future.
